Our mission working with Charlie's Acres was to develop and paint a series of weathered sign paintings with a vintage look. "Charlie’s Acres is dedicated to the care of rescued farm animals. We serve as a sanctuary where our animals can live out their natural lives in peace, and as a venue for showing the general public that these intelligent beings deserve our compassion." we created a total of five exterior sign paintings for each one of the animal barns, ultimately representing each one of the animals found on the farm including cows, sheep, goats, horses, and pigs. The sign paintings range in size to ensure easy viewability and identification for the facilities' visitors and volunteers. Using various faux painting techniques we were able to ensure each sign painting looked as though it was painted in the distant past. Its safe to say we had a great time down on the farm!
