Our mission working with Sunday Night Football on NBC, the NFL, the Greenbay Packers, and the San Francisco 49er's was to create a live painted mural in the heart of San Francisco in anticipation for the Sunday Night Football game between the two NFC rivals. Our team lead by artist Maxfield Bala hoped on stage in front of the San Francisco Ferry Building to paint a mural in front of thousands of passerby's eager to interact with the mural and the heisman's trophy placed to the right of the painting. The mural was guided by dozens of live tweets from fans which inspired the text and illustrations on either side of the Canvas. These tweets had us painting famous San Francisco sites Alcatraz and fun saying things like "Cheese Heads" for the green bay packers. The mural took roughly six hours to complete from start to finish. The mural was part of the CanVS program which has artistic teams like Bala Creative from around the country painting murals in the lead up to Super Bowl 2022. This mural was ultimately displayed as part of a larger project at the 2022 Super Bowl between the Los Angeles Rams, and the the Cincinnati Bengals. .
