Our mission was to create a series of interactive and eye-opening mural paintings for Powerade and Woodward Camps in Tehachapi, California, Tahoe, California, Copper Mountain, Colorado, and Woodward, Pennsylvania. Creating these inspiring interior wall murals based on the international "We're all Just a Kid From Somewhere" and "Fuel to Power Through" campaigns from Powerade in 2017. Each mural painting was strategically placed at each Woodward Camp location to ensure an interactive experience with professional, amateur and beginner action sports athletes visiting the various summer campsites. We used a series of Powerade branding graphics, city skylines from local areas, natural assets including animals found in the areas and animations to invoke the mural campaign ideals. For example, we included the Golden Gate Bridge for the Calfornia Location, the Empire State Building for the east coast location, and a log cabin for the Colorado location. A shark for the California Location, Bear for the Colorado Location, and Tiger for the east coast location. Encapsulating the mural paintings in blue and grey tones to incorporate Powerade's color schemes. Mural paintings varied from 16' x 6' to 55' x 12' per location and were each completed in one week. All paintings were competed by mural artist Maxfield Bala using acrylic, latex and aerosol paints.
