Our mission with the Petaluma City Schools was to create a school mural that would add life and a splash of color to McDowell Elementary Schools campus. We worked with students and faculty to help bring the mural to life. Volunteers joined in to help our team block in color and add detail to the mural painting. The murals are meant to represent transformation as seen within the monarch caterpillar and Monarch Butterfly mural painting moving from ABC blocks to a book. We painted this exterior school mural thanks to the help of our partner, Kelly Moore Paints. The murals for Mcdowell Elementary and Petaluma City Schools were ultimately clear coated with a UV and Weather resistant clear coat as a way to further protect these works of art.
