Our mission with Penngrove Elementary School was to enhance what was a beaten-down and rusted out storage container into a vibrant mural for the school garden. Through the involvement of students and staff, we were able to create a design that helped to transform the unsightly garden storage container. The exterior mural painting features a panther to represent the school's mascot, a quail representing the state bird of California, a hummingbird often found in the Penngrove garden and a stylized butterfly. A series of abstract patterns, flowers, and fruits are found throughout the background helping to make us this color school mural. Using a high-quality clear coat we were able to ensure a long-lasting product for the school mural.
